Battle Suite
Welcome to Geomancy! We're an original region Pokemon game with a dark history. Feel free to look around, and if you have any questions, you can ask in the chat-box at the bottom of the site. We're also kiddo-friendly, but have mature areas for older players!

Tolerance: please be aware that there are many different kinds of people on this board. Many may be drastically different from you. You don't have to agree with these differences, just accept them.

Behavioral problems and issues with or between members, will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis, with respect to situation and circumstance, as they come up, should they come up.
The staff reserve the right to ask anyone to leave, for any reason.

No word count, no character caps, no strict activity requirements. Communicate.
Just let people know if you'll be away for a while, or if you're not feeling a character or a thread anymore. It's okay.

No posting templates, no gifs, no images in IC posts, do not make the font size smaller than it is by default, no neon or otherwise blinding colors.
Thank you.

Face claims are optional, mixed media.
Please do not steal artwork from someone. Make sure the artist is okay with you using their work before doing so.

Avatar images are 250x250 in size. Make them square. The side images in profiles are 275x500.
Please make sure to at least get the same dimensions.

Geomancy is kiddo-friendly.
This means players should attempt to keep their language and content to a less traumatic level. Older players may pass this general rating, and write more gritty content, but must mark the thread mature to do so.

While Geomancy has some original aspects, it's mostly pretty standard, you should be okay just diving in with a trainer off the bat.
Beginner trainers will start the game with no Pokemon and no skills - you'll need to thread with Professor Hawthorne to get your starter. Below are our starters.
Lotan => Lotara => Lolium

Firoul => Firesce => Evanefir

Nulusea => Atlantasea => Glaugon

Geomancy occasionally gains new Pokemon. These are regional Fakemon.
Many props to Arceus for designing and drawing them. Yes, we have several Eeveelutions and more Megas on the way. They're released in small clusters, every few weeks we get more.

Yes, you must set up your skills and Pokemon in the Suite if you're not a beginning trainer.
No exceptions.

Kids may become trainers at 10, as in the canon lore, but cannot participate in the Pokemon League competitions until age 18.
Pokemon Showcases, Contests, and Performances, are not restricted this way. Smaller battle tournaments may also allow younger trainers.
